Mini Soccer (U3-U6) Pilot Program

Welcome to the U3-U6 Petawawa Minor Soccer Club Pilot Program, where we are dedicated to laying the foundation for young athletes. Targeting the U3-U6 age group, our initiative revolves around the NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills module. Coaches, educators, and youth leaders will master observing, detecting, and correcting fundamental movement skills, fostering the physical development of children.

Our focus is twofold: building a solid grasp of Physical Literacy and orchestrating practice sessions that are not just fun and safe but also keep children actively engaged.

With a unique approach, the main field will feature 16 mini fields, each run by a soccer player, overseen by an assistant coach, and led by a trained coach under provincial guidance.

The 8-week program unfolds with weekly development sessions, aligning seamlessly with the objectives of active start and fundamental NCCP, harmonizing with Ontario and Canada Soccer standards.

Let's embark on this exciting journey of athletic growth and enjoyment!
